With over four decades of experience in accounting, forensic consulting, and ethics leadership, Andrew (Andy) Mintzer is widely recognized for his impact on the profession — not just applying standards, but helping to shape them. Originally from New York, Andy now serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Society of CPAs and is a principal at Hemming Morse, LLC, where he leads complex forensic investigations and testifies in high-stakes litigation involving accounting, auditing, and financial reporting issues. He has served on the AICPA’s Auditing Standards Board, Accounting Standards Executive Committee, and Professional Ethics Executive Committee, and was appointed to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants for the maximum six-year term. A past chair of the California Society of CPAs and a former AICPA board member, Andy is known as a thoughtful leader and mentor committed to public service.
