Are you interested in serving on the NYCPA’s Board of Directors? The Society’s Nominating Committee is accepting submissions of interest by members to fill key leadership positions on the NYCPA’s Board of Directors. Terms begin on June 1, 2025. The deadline to submit a nomination is Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024.
Open positions for 2025–2026 are: president-elect, which is a one-year term followed automatically by a one-year term as president; five vice presidents, each for a one-year term; secretary/treasurer, which ordinarily serves two consecutive one-year terms; and five at-large directors who ordinarily serve a four-year term. Please note: candidates for president-elect should be prepared to join the Nominating Committee for an interview.
Members may nominate themselves or be nominated by another member. Before submitting the name of another member for nomination, please confirm that the candidate is willing and able to serve. We also request that you submit a biography or résumé for yourself or the candidate, and an email or letter indicating why you or that person should serve on the Board of Directors as a Society officer.
Please email your nominations and suggestions to the NYCPA’s Nominating Committee, in advance of the Dec. 31 deadline, at nominations@nysscpa.org.
