NYSSCPA members will get a chance to meet and mingle with one of television's most-watched political commentators and former White House press secretary, Dana Perino, at the Society's 118th Annual Dinner on May 14. Perino, cohost of Fox News' 5 p.m. talk show, "The Five," will share an insider's viewpoint from her time inside the White House and provide insight into the current political climate as we head into the 2015 election season.
The event, themed “Tribute, Reflection and Inauguration,” will be held at the Eventi Hotel in Midtown. It includes a cocktail reception on the hotel’s fifth-floor veranda, a stunning outdoor space overlooking Sixth Avenue, with views of the Empire State Building, and dinner, which follows at 6:30 p.m. in the Ventana Ballroom on the third floor.
Being honored that night are renowned author and lecturer, Sidney Kess, with the Dr. Emanuel Saxe Outstanding CPA in Education Award; and the late David J. Moynihan, of The Bonadio Group, with the Distinguished Service Award (honored posthumously). The NYSSCPA and its Foundation for Accounting Education will also officially launch The Moynihan Fund in honor of David's memory and his commitment to championing educational opportunities for students who pursue a career as a certified public accountant.
Tickets to the event are $200 per person. To register online, visit the NYSSCPA’s website. If you are not a member of the NYSSCPA and would like to purchase a ticket, please use this form.
