In BriefInformation security and cybersecurity have been major concerns of business managers for many years. The ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has introduced new challenges and reshuffled existing priorities. This article focuses on COVID-19 issues relevant to small and medium-sized entities (SME) and the steps they should consider when implementing their information security programs. The article also identifies resources that small and medium-sized entities can use to help with implementation efforts and, if needed, monitor the performance of consultants and other information security-related service providers.
