Individuals and businesses often turn to their advisors with questions during tax season—and tax professionals increasingly turn to the Internet to find answers. In October 2009, this author published a guide, “20 Questions about Tax Resources on the Internet,” in The CPA Journal. This article offers an update on these online resources that will be of use to tax professionals. It should be noted that some organizations create and promote websites only to abandon them. Even some of the sites listed below might cease to exist following publication. The best advice for users is to check the last date the website was revised, particularly at proprietary sites.
