About the
COMMUNITY ACTION PLAN
Who
We Are
Members
of the Small Firms Practice Management Community are
sole practitioners and smaller firms, generally 10 CPAs or
less.
The community provides a forum to discuss the unique issues facing smaller firms in
today’s environment. Meetings include guest speakers on topics relevant to small
firm practice management.
What
We Do
Our
members engage in practice management discussions and exchange best practices
within firms.
Practice
management topics include strategic planning, recruiting and managing staff,
client relationship management, succession planning, technology tools, and
general trends in the profession.
Support
the Society by identifying and conveying smaller firm practice and professional
issues.
Provide
networking opportunities for members and their staff to connect and gain further
knowledge and insights into effective practices.
Educate
the membership through monthly one-hour CPE sessions on areas of interest
identified by members.
Contribute
relevant articles to the CPA Journal and to other NYCPA publications.
