He brings over 20 years of corporate finance and management consulting experience within the restaurant, manufacturing, financial services, banking, automotive, energy, retail and transportation industries. Purav specializes in providing financial and operational restructuring, turnaround, crisis management, process improvement, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, integrations, synergy capture, divestitures and strategic value creation initiatives in complex situations for companies and their stakeholders both in- and out-of-court bankruptcy process. He has served clients in a range of industries, including healthcare, automotive, energy, financial services, manufacturing, retail and transportation. Representative experience ? Financial advisor to the senior lenders of a $450+ million national restaurant chain with over $120 million in senior credit exposure. Analysis included sensitivity of 13-week cash flow and financial projections, review of motions, build working capital roll forwards, monitor weekly budget to actual, insolvency analysis, monitor and review the §363 sale process. ? Financial advisor to senior lender to a $750 million retail power entity, with over $70 million in exposure. Analysis included three year detailed financial projections, direct and indirect cash flow projections on a monthly basis with six different growth scenarios to monitor resulting liquidity and covenant compliance, allowing the lender to negotiate better terms and revise loan agreements. ? Financial advisor to the UCC of a $250 million phone card manufacturer and distributor network. Advisor to senior management of two large hospitals in Southern New Jersey area – Analyze a joint venture between the two hospitals considering the merger of their Pediatrics practice under various scenarios – sharing of operations, third party managed operations or sale of practice. Analyses included revenue projections and breakeven analyses on a DRG code level basis, including various reimbursement rates assumptions, payer-mix assumptions, market capture and cannibalization assumptions. ? Financial advisor to the CFO of a large hospital in Greater New York area considering a buy-back of its Oncology Center from the physicians and purchase of a new CyberKnife system. Various alternatives were prepared for the CFO to analyze different options including, build out of a completely new Oncology Center and using the existing space to expand pediatrics practice, and different revenue share options with the physicians. ? Financial advisor to the CFO of a Specialized Healthcare Services Provider considering refinancing of 17 revenue bonds with face value of $33 million – validated cash flow projections for each of the 17 bonds with varying amortization schedule and coupons; calculated NPV of savings from refinancing; validated assumptions proposed by the Provider's Investment Bank and presented various break even scenarios under different interest rate options and opinion on the reasonableness of the cost of issuance. ? Financial advisor to bondholders of $237 million defaulted tax-exempt bond issued to build parking lots around Yankee Stadium; performed complete viability assessment, including projected earnings under various bond restructuring scenarios. ? Investment banking advisor (capital raise) to a 26 radio station regional broadcasting company; raised $64 million in senior and mezzanine debt to refinance its current all senior debt. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Mr. Adiecha worked as a Manager with BDO's Restructuring and Turnaround practice. His prior work experience involves working for Morris Anderson's Restructuring group and Bank of America’s Global Corporate and Investment Banking group where he advised companies on capital-raising, credit restructuring and treasury management. Mr. Adiecha also worked in corporate treasury for The Dow Chemical Company where he developed credit analyses, funding and trading strategies to reduce costs. Community involvement ?
