Utica CPA, Stephen T. Surace Elected NYSSCPA Vice President

NEW YORK - (June 15, 2015) - The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), has elected Stephen Surace, CPA, from Deerfield NY, as a vice president of its Board of Directors. Surace is the chief financial officer and a vice president of Adjusters International Inc., located in Utica. He is also the president of Mosaic Accounting, based in Utica. His one-year term began June 1.

Surace is a current director-at-large on the Society’s Board of Directors and is currently a member of the NYSSCPA’s Real Estate Committee. Surace is a past president of the Society’s Utica Chapter.

Surace received his Bachelor of Science in accounting at Utica College and his MBA in accounting at State University of New York’s Institute of Technology. Surace joined the NYSSCPA in 2000 and is a member of the Utica Chapter.
