Sherry L. DelleBovi, CPA, Elected NYSSCPA Vice President

NEW YORK, NY, May 10, 2012 – The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants installed Sherry L. DelleBovi, CPA of Buffalo as a Vice President at its 115th Annual Election Meeting & Dinner held today at the New York Marriott Marquis at Times Square. DelleBovi, a partner with Lumsden & McCormick, LLP, is responsible for the planning, coordination and performance of services provided to commercial businesses.

DelleBovi, a member of the NYSSCPA since 1988, has served as a member of its Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She is also past chair and a member of its Membership Committee and has served as a member of its Nominating Committee. She was President, President-Elect and a member of the Executive Committee for the Buffalo Chapter. She also served as a member of the chapter’s Cooperation with the Bar Association Committee.

She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
DelleBovi is a graduate of graduate of the UB School of Management, Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership where she serves as a mentor and reactor working with business owners to overcome business challenges, create new opportunities and develop valuable networking relationships to promote business growth.
 
She is also past Treasurer of Insyte Consulting, a West New York Technology Department Center, Inc. and is past president of the West New York Chapter of Financial Women International.
 
She is a graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo and has a bachelor of science degree in accounting.
