NEW YORK - (June 17, 2015) - Elliot L. Hendler, CPA and a partner emeritus of the Manhattan-headquartered accounting, tax and business consulting firm, Friedman LLP, has been elected a director-at-large by The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). His three-year term began June 1.
Hendler is currently a member of the NYSSCPAs’ Professional Ethics and SEC Committees and The CPA Journal’s Editorial Board.
He previously served as the Society’s secretary, vice president, Executive Committee member, and member of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter Executive Board.
Hendler joined the NYSSCPA in 1962 and is a member of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter. He received a BBA degree from The City College of New York and resides in the Bronx.
