FAE Value Pass Guidelines

Terms and Conditions

  • FAE VP 2018 usage is limited to registration at Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE) courses that are identified as FAE VP-eligible. FAE VP 2018 applies to courses offered from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
  • Purchasers of an Individual FAE VP 2018 (members only) or Firm/Company FAE VP 2018 will be e-mailed a FAE VP 2018 number valid for up to 24, 40 or 80 CPE credits, depending on the FAE VP purchased. Participants must reference this number to complete each registration. You may register for courses online, by phone, mail, or fax using your FAE VP 2018 number.
  • Each FAE VP 2018 number is valid for use for any FAE VP-eligible course up to a total of 24, 40 or 80 credits, depending on the FAE VP purchased.
  • The FAE VP 2018 numbers are owned by the purchaser. If a company or organization pays for an Individual FAE VP 2018 (members only) on behalf of a staff member who subsequently leaves the company, the remaining FAE VP 2018 credits may be transferred to one member of the firm without penalty.
  • All sales are final; the entire fee is nonrefundable.


  • If you wish to cancel a course registration processed with a FAE VP, written notice of your cancellation must be provided either by fax to (866) 495-1354 or an e-mail sent to xfox@nysscpa.org.
  • All course cancellations of registrations processed with a FAE VP made more than 14 days prior to the program date will not incur a penalty.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before an event will result in the forfeiture of the FAE VP credits.


  • FAE VP purchasers may transfer his or her registration to another program without a penalty, only if the event that is being transferred from is scheduled 14 days after the date of the transfer. Transfers and substitutions requested less than 14 days before the event will be charged a $25 processing fee.
  • Substitutions may only be made for registrations processed with a Firm/Company FAE VP. Substitutions made more than 14 days before the event will be processed without a penalty. Substitutions requested less than 14 days before the event will incur a $25 processing fee.
  • Once a transfer or substitution is processed, any subsequent substitution or transfer is subject to a $50 processing fee.
  • No transfers will be made on or after the course date.
