NEW YORK—In reaction to serious concerns from the estate planning community regarding, in part, the impending termination of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Act of 2001 (EGTRA), slated to sunset in 2010, the NYSSCPA’s Tax Division Oversight Committee created a Tax Policy Subcommittee to work in cooperation with the Estate Planning Committee, to address concerns in the area to the U.S. senators from New York. |
