NEW YORK—In a recently issued report titled Observations on Auditors’ Implementation of PCAOB Standards Relating to Auditors’ Responsibilities With Respect to Fraud, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) reminded auditors of their duty regarding “the detection of a material misstatement caused by fraud.”
