Message From the President

By Phyllis Graybow, Rockland Chapter President

It’s hard to believe that the holidays are over and that we are all heading into our busy season already. January proved to be a terrific month for Rockland Chapter activities. On Jan. 7, we hosted our third annual IRS/NYS Tax Seminar at the Comfort Inn. As usual, we had a very large crowd in attendance, and the representatives from these governing bodies gave exceptional presentations. Everyone walked away much more knowledgeable than they were when they first arrived.

On Jan. 20, the executive board welcomed another group of newcomers at our second “Meet and Greet.” This time we met at the Rainbow Grill in Pomona, and the informal setting lent itself to most interesting conversations.

In closing, I want to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and peaceful New Year, and I look forward to sharing many wonderful upcoming events with all of you.
