Message From the President

The Buffalo Chapter’s Nominating Committee, comprised of Peter Bellanti (chair), John LaMonte and Fran Engel, has come up with next year’s slate of officers. As in years past, the election of next year’s officers will take place at the Education Night dinner in April. The slate of officers appears in print here and is also available on the Buffalo Chapter webpage. Please join me in congratulating our Nominating Committee in providing a well-rounded, diverse group for our Buffalo Chapter.
January was busy with the IRS’ E-file seminar and a Young CPAs Happy Hour. The happy hour was a great pick-me-up before the start of tax season. Look for other great events coming soon.
We’re going to go into minor hibernation for a few months to let everyone get through tax season. On behalf of the Buffalo Chapter, we hope your tax season is a prosperous one.
Look for some of our Year in Review commentary coming in the next few months to show our members what we’ve done and what we have left to do for the remaining 2003–2004 year. The Executive Board is proud of the hard work and effort put forth by all volunteers that have helped make this year a tremendous success.
