I noticed that your earliest Newsbriefs archives date back to late September of this year. I was wondering how I could access earlier Newsbriefs.

The website’s earliest Newsbriefs archives only date back to September 2000, because the section didn’t exist until then. Articles posted prior to September on the nysscpa.org homepage can be found in the Homepage Headlines Archive. To access this archive from nysscpa.org, click on Previous Newsbriefs in the bottom right-hand corner of the page. You should now be on the Newsbriefs Archive page. Then, click on Homepage Headlines Archive in the top right-hand corner.

Now that tax season is coming up, I was hoping to get a head start by downloading some forms. Are any federal, city, or state forms available online at your site?

We’re glad you asked, and the answer is a resounding YES. Just go to www.nysscpa.org/taxresourcesa.htm and click on the links for whichever forms you need. To access this page from nysscpa.org, just click on Tax Resources. Please note that you will need to install Adobe Acrobat on your computer in order to download these forms. This can be done by clicking on the appropriate links on the nysscpa.org federal, state, and city form pages.
