November 1999 Editor's Note: September's article by Robert Kawa challenging chapters to reactivate the One-on-One program initiated cheers and a reminder that Buffalo has long maintained a successful program. Another popular chapter activity for students is education night for area college accounting majors. For more on these efforts, see the article on this page.
To the editor:
The Trusted Professional is an excellent newspaper, and I look forward each month to reading the many interesting articles published in it. The September 1999 issue had an article entitled "Whatever Happened to the One-on-One Program?" I have enclosed an article that I have written in response to that question. I would greatly appreciate it if you could publish it in your next newspaper. I feel that it is very important for your readers to know that this wonderful program is, and always has been, alive and well in the Buffalo Chapter. As a matter of fact, our program has been viewed as the "model program" for the Society.
Very truly yours,
