Society Announces Forbes Magazine Discounts

The NYSSCPA recently teamed up with Forbes magazine to provide Society members with discounted subscription rates. Society members can receive 26 issues (a one-year subscription) for $29.98, a 76 percent discount off the newsstand price of $129.70. Members also can subscribe for two years (52 issues) for $59.95.

"I'm delighted to add Forbes to our growing list of member services," NYSSCPA Member Services Manager Ed Parker said. "In an ongoing effort to make our member benefits the best of any professional association in the country, we're providing services that help our members' careers while reducing costs. And this service can save members almost one hundred dollars a year."

Members can subscribe by calling (800) 888-9896 and indicating "CHACPA" to receive the discounted rate.

Forbes is not the first magazine made available to members at a discounted rate, and it will not be the last. In July, the NYSSCPA announced its affinity plan with Business Week, and plans to introduce several other discount programs.

"We're committed to providing value-added benefits. Members should watch for our future programs with Time, Sports Illustrated, People, and other magazines," Parker said.
