November 2002 Disney Club Closes The Disney Club will no longer be available to members enrolled in the program. The club has announced its decision to close on Dec. 31, 2003. As part of its Member Benefits/Services Program, the New York State Society of CPAs previously belonged to The Disney Club as a corporate chapter. Disney decided to close the club after assessing member needs and determining that guests could be better served through other discount programs. The club sent letters to individual members in October explaining the closure and how it will affect their memberships. To carry out the closure, The Disney Club will no longer process renewals and new memberships after Dec 12, 2002. However, the club will honor individual members’ benefits until the expiration date on their membership cards or until Dec. 31, 2003, whichever comes first. Members can call The Disney Club at (800) 654-6347 or go to www.disneyclub.com for additional information. |
