Aaron A. Lichter of Rockville Centre, N.Y., was expelled from membership of the New York State Society of CPAs as a result of a decision by a hearing panel of the Joint Trial Board. Lichter violated Rule of Conduct Interpretation 501-6 for failing to comply with the directives in the Joint Trial Board’s decision dated Oct. 16, 1998. The expulsion was effective Oct. 11, 2000.
