Peter Frank of Cornick Garber was quoted in Crain's New York Business on gaining new business and more revenue through consulting. Louis C. Grassi of Grassi & Co. CPAs PC discussed the shortage of qualified CPA candidates in the Long Island Business News. Robert L. Israeloff of Israeloff Trattner & Co. CPAs PC was quoted in Accounting Today in an article about AICPA technology initiatives. Stuart Kessler of Goldstein Golub Kessler & Co. gave Accounting Today his thoughts on the “most important issue facing the accounting profession.” Walter Primoff of the Synergy Advisory Board discussed Synergy's work to bring together CPAs and financial planners in Accounting Today. Thomas J. Murray of Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Co. participated in a Long Island Business News special report on financial services. Ed Slott of E. Slott & Co. was featured in Accounting Today in an article about his proposal for estate tax reform. Alan E. Weiner of Holtz Rubenstein & Co. LLP and Lawrence Waldman of KPMG LLP were quoted in the Long Island Business News on their efforts to give back to the profession. In addition, a feature on Weiner highlighted his accomplishments as Society president during 1999–2000. Weiner also talked to News 12 Long Island about the marriage penalty tax. |
