Mid Hudson Young CPAs Wingfest

Sponsers trip to Disney World

By Marti Sassi

Twenty different types of chicken wings, beverages, a race car, a radio station (104.7), and a clown contributed to the festivities as the Mid Hudson Young CPAs Committee raised approximately $5,200 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation at the First Annual Mid Hudson Chapter Young CPAs Wingfest. The money will be used to sponsor a five-year-old boy’s wish to travel to Disney World with his family. The boy, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and his entire family attended the event.

Mid Hudson Young CPAs Committee Co-Chairs Neil V. Fino, Jr., and Frank P. Giordano, III, were instrumental in bringing this function together quickly and efficiently, enhancing the professional image of the Mid Hudson Young CPAs in the eyes of the general public. The event was very well attended by local CPAs young and old, as well as by business leaders and the general public. The committee is now setting its sights on its annual holiday season Toys for Tots drive.
