Society Offers Members Accident Insurance
By Paul Sinegal
In light of the fact that working professionals face a greater risk of accidental injury while traveling on the job, the NYSSCPA offers a High-Limit Accident Plan. On or off the job, the High-Limit Accident Plan provides global coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. High-level benefits up to $500,000 are paid for accidental death; loss of sight, speech, or hearing; and the dismemberment and/or permanent impairment of the hands, legs, arms, feet, fingers, and/or toes. For Society members in good standing, applicants and their spouses will be automatically accepted for coverage. Members may choose their own beneficiaries, and may designate a new one at any time by filling out a written request. As long as they pay their premiums and remain members of the NYSSCPA, no age restrictions will apply to members' insurance packages. For information about the NYSSCPA's High-Limit Accident Plan, please contact the NYSSCPA Insurance Administration, Albert H. Wohlers & Co., 1440 N. Northwest Highway, Park Ridge, Illinois 60068-1400. Members may also call the NYSSCPA Insurance Administration toll-free at 1-800-503-9230, send e-mail to info@ahw.com, or visit www.wohlers.com/ahw. Or contact Paul Sinegal, the Society's insurance manager, at 212-719-8419, or psinegal@nysscpa.org for further information. |
