Committee Membership Increase Continues

With approximately 1800 individuals serving on committees, NYSSCPA members are taking an active role on behalf of the Society.

Committees serve members of the Society, promote a favorable impression of the profession on the general public, and create a forum in which members can interact with their peers. Because of the new committees and structure in place for the 2000-2001 committee year, which are geared to meet the current needs of members and the accounting profession, the number of members serving on committees is expected to increase. Recruiting efforts for the committees are still active and ongoing.
