Colson Named CPA Journal Editor-in-ChiefBy Tom Morris
"The CPA Journal is one of the best read and respected publications in the accounting profession, and Bob's unique background will help us move in new directions," NYSSCPA Executive Director Louis Grumet said. "I'm very pleased and excited about the role he will play in the future of one of our key member services." Colson was previously executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Financial Executives Research Foundation of the Financial Executives Institute, based in Morristown, N.J. He has also been a professor of accounting, business division chair, and accounting department chair at Daemen College in Amherst, N.Y. "The CPA Journal already is an excellent publication, and I look forward to the challenge of leading it as it enters the next millennium." Colson said.
