I read an interesting article in The CPA Journal two or three years ago but I don't remember in which issue it appeared. How can I locate the article without having to glance through the table of contents of every issue published?

We're glad you asked, because it gives us a chance to remind everyone that the website features an Advanced Search option. (See the link on the left-hand side of the homepage or execute a search directly at www.nysscpa.org/search.htm.) Once you're there, type keywords from the article in the Search for Keywords box, select Search CPA Journal, and click the Search button. A list of related articles will appear.

I'm a member of the Society's Nassau Chapter, and I was wondering what I need to do in order to post our chapter events on the Society's website.

We're always happy to help publicize chapter activities. Generally speaking, the website staff receives a copy of the chapter newsletter and posts it in the chapter's area. So letting your chapter newsletter editor know about this service is a good way to get information on the website. But you can also let us know about news and events as soon as information is available. So don't wait-get your news and events on the website today. Please send materials and information to be considered for display on your committee or chapter page to NYSSCPA, Attention: Website Staff, 530 Fifth Avenue, 5th floor, New York, NY 10036.
