IRS Officers Address Society Committee

On May 17, Ray Wolff, IRS chief of Manhattan appeals, and Bob Fernandez, IRS appeals officer, addressed the Relations with the IRS Committee, chaired by Jim Brennan. Wolff described the new organization chart for the IRS appeals office and discussed how it will relate to local appeals administration. Fernandez discussed the Collection Due Process (CDP) Program, distinguishing it from the Collection Appeals Program.
