Building Knowledge at the Construction Contractors Conference

CPAs, controllers, CFOs, and attorneys will gain great insight into the construction industry at this year’s Construction Contractors Accounting, Consulting and Taxation Conference. sponsored by the Foundation for Accounting Education on Aug. 9 at the Holiday Inn in Rochester and Aug. 16 at the New York Helmsley Hotel in Manhattan, the conference will cover a wide array of financial and nonfinancial developments in the construction industry.

Speakers will include representatives from Lumsden & McCormick, LLP, who will discuss construction accounting and auditing. They will be on hand for a panel discussion where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and express concerns on issues regarding construction accounting, taxation, operations, and consulting.

Anthony Dannible of Dannible & McKee, LLP, will focus on federal income taxation of large and small contractors. Additionally, representatives from Hodgson Russ LLP will give an update on sales tax issues and developments and their effect on construction contractors.
