Emerging Technologies Committee Sets 2001/2002 Schedule

By Bruce H. Nearon, CPA

The Emerging Technologies Committee is pleased to announce its new format and schedule for 2001 and 2002. Throughout the year at each regular meeting, members of the committee will make presentations on the important new technologies affecting the accounting profession. Members of the Society who are interested are encouraged to attend the presentations, space permitting.

If you are interested in attending a presentation, e-mail the chair at bnearon@jhcohn.com or call (973) 403-6955. Reserve your place now because seating is limited. There is no charge to attend, and one-hour CPE credit will be granted to those who come.

The presentations will last approximately 45 minutes and will begin at 9:45 a.m. at each regularly scheduled ET Committee meeting. Regular committee business will be conducted before the presentations between 9:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

Bruce H. Nearon is a member of the Cohn Consulting Group, a division of J.H. Cohn, and practices in Roseland, N.J. He is chair of the Emerging Technologies Committee.
