Closely Held and S Corporation Conference

Professionals interested in staying current and gaining the most recent knowledge to aid their company or clients can attend FAE’s Closely Held and S Corporation Conference on Monday, July 16, at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers.

This advanced-level conference is designed for public practitioners and accounting and financial professionals in industry who are currently responsible for the planning and reporting of closely held and S corporation transactions.

Topics to be discussed include current developments affecting S corporations and closely held business tax matters, venture capital investment partnerships (including a comprehensive review of investments in venture capital partnerships with issues related to the underlying portfolio companies and investors), and retirement distributions planning (where attendees will learn how to effectively transfer retirement assets).

Gideon Rothchild of Moses & Singer will present “Giving It Away but Keeping Control,” a session on estate planning techniques that can cut estate taxes on family business interests while allowing owners to maintain managerial and financial control.
