FAE Responds to CPAs' Needs

2000 - 2001 CPE Catalog Includes More Than 70 New Offerings

A new CPE catalog--chock full of more than 70 new courses--is now available. The Foundation for Accounting Education has added new courses in every field of study: accounting and auditing, advisory services, government accounting and auditing, financial and general management, specialized industries and knowledge, and taxation.

"What participants will learn in all of these new classes is indicative of the increasing complexity and interdisciplinary nature of the accounting profession," said Alan Schmelkin, NYSSCPA director of operations.

In response to numerous requests, FAE has added a wide range of programs on fraud, industry-related topics, cash flow reporting, business consolidations, the best accounting and tax software packages, the Department of Labor update on form 5500, negotiations for debt and equity financings, Medicare and eldercare, 2000 tax updates, CPA firm practice management, and technology- and Internet-related topics.

In addition, FAE's Pay One Price (POP) program enables participants to attend unlimited CPE through August 31 for only $895.
