By Aysha Livingston r

The Foundation for Accounting Education’s Small Business Taxation Conference will be anything but a small affair. The conference, which will take place on June 21 at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in New York City, will cover everything from tax to voluntary disclosure.

What’s more, speakers will include Arthur J. Roth, commissioner of the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and conference Chair Stewart Buxbaum of S. Buxbaum & Co. in Nanuet. Buxbaum, who is also chair of the New York State, Municipal, and Local Taxation Committee and a recipient of the New York State Society of CPAs’ Special Recognition Award, will discuss the latest developments in sales tax, including new audit programs and voluntary disclosure.

For more information, visit www.nysscpa.org, or call (800) 537-3635. The fee for members is $275 and nonmembers, $375.
