Financial Professionals to Speak at Personal Financial Planning Conference
By Aysha Livingston
The Foundation for Accounting Education will hold its Personal Financial Planning Conference on June 14 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City and on June 19 at the Marriott Thruway in Rochester.
There will be several guest speakers on hand, including Craig I. Hughes of Rochdale Investment Management Services, who will discuss personalized client portfolios, and Marvin Rotenberg of Fleet Bank, who will discuss Roth IRAs and multigenerational IRAs. John J. Kenny Jr. of Aon Insurance Services will address managing professional liability exposure in the personal financial planning market.
“Personal financial planning provides substantial growth potential for CPA professionals looking to develop and expand their financial services practices to be competitive in the 21st century,” said Bruce Milove, a co-chair of this year’s Personal Financial Planning Conference. “This conference will provide many answers to the questions of where CPAs are today in the financial planning and portfolio management business, and where they want to go and how to get there.”
