Fight the Fuel Crisis with HEAT USA

Save 2040 Percent on Heating Bills

By Ed Parker

NYSSCPA members have a weapon to combat rising heating bills during this winter's fuel crisis--HEAT USA, the country's largest fuel-buying cooperative.

Since the Society affinity partner has ongoing relationships with fuel wholesalers and negotiated contracts prior to the current crisis, the cooperative can offer Society members savings of 20 to 40 percent compared to current costs with other companies.

For an annual $25 fee, Society members can take advantage of the purchasing power of 25,000 HEAT USA members. Additional benefits include a lifetime free service contract with 24-hour emergency coverage, a free annual cleaning and maintenance check of members' heating systems, and a free year of service with the purchase of a three-year contract.

Last winter, HEAT USA saved Society members hundreds of dollars in fuel bills. Even in times without a fuel shortage, the cooperative negotiates discounts on heating oil that are 15 to 20 percent less than the average retail price. HEAT USA is available in New York City; Dutchess, Nassau, Putnam, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties in New York; Fairfield County in Connecticut; northern New Jersey; and Rhode Island.
