CPA Hall of Fame Selection Process Under Way
"The CPA Hall of Fame offers us a way of honoring those who have made a lasting imprint on the profession and the community," said NYSSCPA President Alan E. Weiner, who conceived the idea. The Society will announce the first inductees at the Annual Election Meeting and Dinner on May 9 in New York City. (See page 5 and the enclosed brochure for more information.) Honorees will receive recognition plaques, and the NYSSCPA will display a plaque in its offices. The Society's Executive Committee chose the members of the selection committee, which includes representatives from both inside and outside the accounting profession.
