Volunteers Needed to Review New CPA ExamThe AICPA Examinations Team needs volunteers to pilot test new questions developed to computerize the uniform CPA examination. In order to identify strategies used to answer these questions and obtain feedback on their content and format to improve them, the AICPA will ask participants to think aloud as they work on the problems. At the conclusion of the testing, participants will have the opportunity to review their responses and give their opinions about the questions. The results will determine which types of questions will be used on the future uniform CPA examination and will help develop a new CPA exam that accurately measures appropriate knowledge and skill. The AICPA needs CPAs with one to three years of experience who have passed the CPA exam within the past two years. One-on-one testing will begin April 4 at the AICPA headquarters in Jersey City, N.J., and will last approximately four hours. Participants will receive CPE credit. To participate, or for more information, please contact Jennifer Kobrin at (201) 938-3420 or jkobrin@aicpa.org. * |
