The nominations include Jo Ann Golden for president-elect; G. William Hatfield, Elliot Hendler, Ronald Huefner, and Kevin McCoy for vice president; and Frank Aquilino for treasurer.

To fill open positions on the Society’s board of directors, the nominees include Rosemarie A. Barnickel, Peter L. Berlant, Peter H. Frank, Mark A. Plostock, and Howard D. Weiner as directors-at-large and Katharine K. Doran, Mike J. DePietro, and Kevin O’Connor as chapter representatives.

The officers and directors for the 2001-2002 term will be elected during the 104th Annual Election Meeting and Dinner on Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at the Roosevelt Hotel, located on 45th Street between Madison and Vanderbilt Avenues.

The Nominating Committee’s official report, including detailed information on each nominee and a proxy ballot, will be included in the February Trusted Professional.

According to Article X of the Society’s bylaws, independent nominations for an officer or elected director may be made by petition filed with the Secretary by March 20. The petition requires at least 100 signatures, other than the nominee, and must certify that the nominee has consented to serve if elected.
