NYSSCPA.ORG Adds New Site Map

By Cori L. Gabbard

In a continuing effort to improve communication with members, the New York State Society of CPAs has added a site map to its website at www.nysscpa.org.

Like the Search and Advanced Search options, members and other visitors can use the site map to locate particular pages and topics of interest. In addition, as a working directory, the site map encourages surfers to familiarize themselves with the site by learning its layout and seeing where certain categories are linked in relation to each other.

“The site map provides greater choice to the members in terms of how they can find a specific topic,” Website Managing Editor Kyle Booth said. “But what makes the site map great is that people can look at it, get comfortable with where things are on nysscpa.org, and feel some sense of ownership. The reason that the Society has a website in the first place is for the benefit of the members. This is their site. And the site map can help members feel that it is.”

Members can visit www.nysscpa.org and click on the Site Map link to view this tool, which is located in the left-hand column of the homepage right above the link for Information Centers.

For help or information about using the site map, contact Website Managing Editor Kyle Booth at (212) 719-8324, (800) NYSSCPA (697-7272), or kbooth@nysscpa.org.
