International Operations Committee Discusses Border Due Diligence
Breakfast Meeting Recruits New Members
The event, which was well attended by committee members and nonmembers, helped recruit new members. As a result of the meeting, three attendees joined the committee. Saunders shared his expertise on trends in cross-border merger and acquisition transactions--from the initial planning of an engagement through the final report to the potential buyer. He discussed team composition, key areas during the due diligence process, local issues, and other key business issues to consider when advising a client on such transactions. He provided many examples of actual experiences to articulate his views. "Gregg Saunders' presentation was both insightful and informative," committee Chair Alan Alzfan said. "His experience and use of examples really highlighted the areas he discussed."
