Bass, of Margolin Winer & Evens LLP, was awarded the Franklin H. Ornstein Human Relations Award by the American Jewish Committee's Long Island Chapter. Michele De'Orio, of KPMG LLP, was elected to the board of directors of the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. Robert L. Desantis, own account, was reelected to the YMCA board of directors. Robert Fagliarone, of the Fagliarone Group PC, was elected chair of the Le Moyne College board of regents. Robert Goldfarb, of Schoenfeld, Medelsohn and Goldfarb LLP, participated in the Boston to New York AIDS Ride. Robert L. Israeloff, of Israeloff, Trattner & Co. CPAs PC, received a humanitarian-of-the-year award from the Nassau County American Red Cross. Saul B. Katz, retired, was reelected chair of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System board of trustees. Jerry Massimino, of Grassi & Co. CPAs PC, was elected to the Calquhoun Foundation's board of directors. John C. Mesloh, retired, was elected to the board of directors of Winthrop University Hospital. John R. Miller, of KPMG LLP, was named to the Wilkes University board. Steven Mizrach, of Goodman & Mizrach CPAs PC, discussed "How to Seize Control of Your Company's Cash Flow," at Rutger's University's small business development center. Allan Rabinowitz, of Pace University, received Pace's Kenan Award for Teaching Excellence. Terri Conrad Regan, of Urbach Kahn & Werlin PC, was elected to the board of the YMCA of Troy-Cohoes. Richard Roedel, of BDO Seidman LLP, was honored by the Accountants and Bankers Chapter of the American ORT. John Szeluga, of Goodman & Mizrach CPAs PC, spoke on various personal financial planning topics at the Hawthorne Senior Center for the Passaic County Office on Aging. Karen J. Tenenbaum, of Karen J. Tenenbaum PC, participated on a panel at the IRS Brookhaven Symposium on interdepartmental programs among the Internal Revenue Service, the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and the New York City Department of Finance. Roberta A. Warner, of Roberta A. Warner & Co., is listed in the 31st edition of Who's Who in Finance and Industry. Thomas D. Weddell, of Vanacore DeBenedictus DiGovanni & Weddell LLP, was appointed to the board of directors of Mid-Hudson Pattern for Progress. Philip A.
