Society Vision Plan
Eyewear Discounts and Free Exams Available

NYSSCPA members and their families can receive up to a 60 percent savings on eyewear and receive free eye exams through a Society membership benefit with Eye Care International.
For an annual $28 fee, in addition to eyewear discounts and a free exam by either an ophthalmologist or optometrist, members also receive coverage on certain medical and surgical procedures, many of which are not covered under traditional health insurance plans.
Eye Care International offers a national network of more than 10,000 providers. Upon enrolling, members receive geographic listings of Eye Care participants.
Other features include a 24-hour emergency telephone hotline; a patient prescription registry that allows Eye Care International to fax member prescriptions to providers; and a mail-order discount service for nonprescription sunglasses, safety glasses, and contact lenses.
