Message
From the President
By
Joe Falbo, Buffalo Chapter President
I will be brief
this month. Truth be told, I am just returning from vacation and realized
that this month’s article deadline was yesterday. Please take
a moment to review the upcoming chapter events, and support as many
as possible. The Buffalo Board of Directors and Committee Chairs work
extremely hard to offer a wide range of events with the hopes of providing
something for everyone.
-
Open Member Breakfast, Aug. 18, at a location to
be announced in the downtown Buffalo area, followed by a Sept. 1 breakfast
at a location to be announced. A detailed schedule of dates and locations
may be found at the Buffalo site, www.nysspca.org/chapters.html.
To ask questions about or attend an upcoming breakfast, please feel
free to contact me at any time.
-
-
Buffalo Chapter Golf Outing, Sept. 20, at Westwood
Country Club. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome. Registration
forms will be sent in upcoming listserve updates, and will be in the
September edition of The Trusted Professional.
-
Young CPA Happy Hour, September date to be announced.
Stay tuned for details.
-
Ethics CPE and NYSSCPA Officers Visitation. Two hours
of free CPE will be provided during the months of September or October.
Details will be provided as the presenters’ schedules are confirmed.
-
51st Annual Tax Institute, Nov. 18–19, at the
Adam’s Mark Hotel, downtown Buffalo.
Enjoy
the balance of the summer!
