Public Relations Liaison Mid Hudson
Chapter My goal for this position is to help Ita Rahilly (chapter president) bring in a larger number of CPAs to the various functions the Mid Hudson Chapter offers. I plan on making sure all the members are advised on seminars and events,” Catherine said. While Mid Hudson’s mailing list numbers more than 1,000 names, Catherine notes, only a core group of individuals usually participate in the chapter’s events. “Ita would like to see new faces getting more involved this year. I would like to help her make that happen,” Catherine said. Given the enormous growth the Mid Hudson region has undergone over the last several years, with a client base ranging from new residences and businesses to construction companies and technology, Catherine sees real value in becoming an active chapter member. “As we all know, individual CPAs and CPA firms need to stay advised of changes. That is especially true in this area to stay competitive in both retaining clients and capturing new client growth,” Catherine said. “We need to get out as much information as possible about various activities and meetings that will help all of our members.” |
