Thanks for the Welcome

Hello to all, and thank you for welcoming me as your new president.

The Finger Lakes Chapter is currently in the process of formulating a schedule of events for the fall. We’ll soon be e-mailing information out to chapter members. If anyone has any suggestions as to events or potential committees, we’d welcome them.

As far as past events go, we held our student designation night on April 28. The event was a success, and we honored students from Elmira College and Corning Community College.

The biggest thing is we’re trying to do is to get active participation in our chapter. We would definitely like to hear from all of you, including any recently certified CPA or anyone who has recently moved into our region. We’re looking to expand board representation as well as member participation.
