Starry Nights
By Paul Sprague

On May 7, the Young CPAs Committee of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter sponsored Starry Nights Jazz & Tapas. This social event featured live jazz and tapas at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History. Amid a spectacular, cosmiclike environment with a replica of the solar system overhead, members listened to the invigorating sounds of a live jazz band. Also, to complement the great music, there were flavorful renditions of Spain’s great tapas repertoire, featuring selections of imported meats, cheeses, olives and wine.

The evening was a great success and was enjoyed by everyone. Members were given the opportunity to network and socialize while enjoying great music and food at the beautiful Rose Center.

The Young CPAs Committee of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter encourages and promotes the participation of younger members. We strive to be a means of increasing the interest and involvement of young CPAs in the chapter.
