The Importance of Support

By Steven Chatwin, Rochester Chapter President

I would like to start by thanking all the chapter members for their support over the past year. Our chapter has developed many new CPE program seminars and student outreach programs that have come as a result of many hours of volunteering by our members. Additionally, our chapter is one of the leading chapters in the state for high school and college programs. Our chapter is also one of the most active chapters in working with local businesses to promote our education events and bring events to our chapter members at a low cost per CPE credit hour. These successes are a result of all of the committee chairs, directors and officers for donating their time.

I would like to introduce and welcome next year’s board of directors. I know they will do a great job for the chapter and further grow the chapter’s participation levels. They are: Derek Duncan, President; Scott Adair, President-Elect; Cheryl Yawman, Vice President; Mark Forte, Secretary; and Michelle Priestley, Treasurer.

The chapter is always looking for committee representation, and we encourage everyone to get involved.

Thanks for making 2004–2005 a great year. Thank you for all your support.
