LIU Students Thank Brooklyn Chapter President
Wright Donates Time to Help Teach Accounting Program

By Myrna L. Fischman

The Accounting Society of Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus would like to thank the Society’s Brooklyn Chapter President Pat Wright for donating her time during three Friday evenings during March and April to teach 20 accounting majors how to use the QuickBooks accounting computer program.

We especially appreciate her dedication to our program since she took time out from her heavy workload of professional tax preparation to give of her time and expertise to our students.

The students of the Accounting Society of Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus consider themselves very fortunate to have alumnae as committed to our university as Ms. Wright.

Myrna L. Fischman is a member of the Society’s Brooklyn Chapter, the chapter’s past president, LIU professor of accounting and taxation, and the LIU’s Accounting Society’s adviser.
