Nassau Chapter Looks Ahead

By Robert Schaffer, Nassau Chapter President

I hope everyone is surviving busy season. I want to take this opportunity to discuss the success of our past events and to let you know what we have in store for the spring.

The March chapter meeting, held jointly with the Suffolk Chapter on March 16, was a big success. Our featured guest speaker, John Kominicki, publisher of the Long Island Business News, was fantastic. The meeting was sponsored by the Cooperation with Bankers and Other Credit Grantors committees. Thanks go to Frank Scala for planning this event.

I hope everyone will join us for some exciting events that are planned for the spring. Most notable is our installation dinner/dance that will take place on Friday, May 6, at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Please join us in welcoming Michael Garibaldi as our next chapter president. We will also be installing the rest of the new officers and board members for the 2005–2006 year. See the registration information in our newsletter.

I will keep this brief as I know we are all busy. Have a good rest-of-busy-season.

We look forward to your continued participation in our events.

If anyone has any suggestions or comments about our existing programs or about programs we can create, please do not hesitate to contact me at 516-409-5000.
