Society Seeks Members to Serve as FAE Trustees

In July 2004, the Foundation for Accounting Education Board of Trustees approved changes to its bylaws, including how the body fills vacancies. Those changes become effective June 1, 2005.

Under the bylaw changes, the Board of Directors of the New York State Society of CPAs will recommend individuals to fill vacancies on the FAE Board of Trustees as they arise. Typically, there are three vacancies each year. The Society’s board is now seeking individuals who are interested in serving on FAE’s Board of Trustees. Interested persons should contact the selections subcommittee via its staff person, Society Counsel James A. Woehlke, who can be reached at jwoehlke@nysscpa.org.

Members of the selections subcommittee include Chairman Stephen Langowski, Barbara Dwyer, Don Kiamie, Nancy Kirby and Richard Piluso.
