To help members and employers more easily use the Internet to search for jobs and hire candidates, the NYSSCPA now offers a confidential online job posting service and resume referral service in conjunction with Resume-Link and the AICPA.

The job posting service allow members to submit their resumes online, free for six months, when registering via the link on the Society's website, www.nysscpa.org. (See the Member Services section of the site.)

The ResumeMatch service for employers helps firms and companies find accounting professionals at a 15% discount on competitive prices. Employers can purchase a complete database, or a regional or national listing, or allow Resume-Link to search the database for candidates based on specific criteria. The service sends search results within three to five business days.

During the six-month free period for those searching for a job, the service includes resumes in the database enabling interested employers to search for possible matches to their firms' or companies' job openings. If individuals do not want their resumes made available to certain employers, they can complete the confidential section of the information form.

There is a $15 processing fee ($10 for students and unemployed members) for members who prefer to register for the job posting service by mail. Send payment and a request for the application to AICPA ResumeMatch, c/o Resume-Link, 5995 Wilcox Place, Dublin, OH 43016-1251.
